O-Level: University of Cambridge - English Literature A-Level: University of Cambridge - English Literature Bachelor (BA): University of Nottingham - Business & Political Sciences (Hons) Master (MSc.): KU Leuven - International Business Economics and Management I grew up and studied on three continents through out my life. I was mainly educated in English and followed strictly the British educational syllabus. I am a native English speaker.

Experience

My first teaching experience dated back to when I was 16. I lived with my uncle and aunt. They were both educators and believed in the importance of a child's education. We offered children from underprivileged families 3 days a week of tutoring and coaching for free, while their parents could focus at work. Our purpose was to hopefully help those children and their parents, in the long run, out of their financial situation through education. I participated until I had to leave the country at the age of 20. Focus Age Group: 8 - 10 years old & 11 - 13 years old Later on when I was studying at the University of Nottingham, parents would approach the university for private tutoring. I was highly recommended to help children of affluent parents. Often they were neglected children who had to go through family issues. Focus Group: Secondary School Students Afterwards I entered the child development industry. I became the Marketing Executive of a company that designs and builds play space for children. My job was to study and develop new methods that would stimulate children's brains, in a way that could promote thinking and social skills through creative play. An example of my scope of work: 2 days site observation - I would be sitting in a controlled environment to study the way children interact with each other and the language they use to speak to themselves and to each other. I would file an in-depth report and would help design a new learning method based on the actual behaviour of children. Focus Age Groups: 2- 5 years old & 6 - 12 years old. In terms of writing skills, I specialised in technical and commercial writing. Commercial writing encourages creative writing that puts the reader in the spotlight. Technical writing focuses on the main points and of being precise. Preferred teaching method: I encourage children to be raised on an international level. There are manners and way of speaking or thinking that adhere to an international standard (meaning, it is widely accepted throughout the world). Communications are required to be adjusted in order to fit into this time and age. I tend to prepare my students to be polished and thoughtful when selecting words. I believe in coaching. Some students need support and guidance to learn how to study. I do not teach them how to tackle questions in a mechanical way, instead, I learn them how to think in order to solve questions they have to face. At school, teachers can do the teaching, a one-sided communication. I am the extra support for the students and children, to help them digest and to show them how to learn, not to memorise. Therefore, I am here to serve as a coach. Before you consider further, it would be necessary that we first speak to each other. It would be vital for me to know what you are expecting from the session(s), your target and such. If you are a parent seeking for a coach for your children, I suggest that we first talk as well. The consultation session is free of charge.
